Victorian interior renovation
A careful restoration of a 1908 Victorian — original woodwork preserved, hardwood floors refinished, mechanical and electrical brought up to code, kitchen and baths sensitively modernized.
The owners wanted to keep the soul of the original home — the carved staircase, picture rails, bay windows, plaster ceilings — but live in it the way a modern family does.
We documented every piece of original millwork before demo, replaced the failing knob-and-tube wiring, re-ran plumbing, added zoned HVAC concealed in existing cavities, and re-skinned the kitchen and primary bath to look like they had always been part of the house.
Refinished hardwood throughout, restored the original stained-glass transoms, and color-matched plaster repairs so the trim profiles stay consistent room to room.
