A backyard transformation — cedar pergola, outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, stone-paver patio, fire pit lounge, and California-native landscaping designed for low water use.
We started with site drainage and a permeable stone-paver patio, then framed the cedar pergola with structural anchors and integrated low-voltage lighting in the rafters.
The outdoor kitchen includes a 36-inch built-in grill, a small fridge, granite counters, and an under-counter trash chute. Gas and water were extended from the main house with new shutoffs.
Landscaping shifted to drought-tolerant — succulents, native sage, agave, with a small herb section by the kitchen. Total irrigation rebated through MWD.
